Arrest after Belfast racist attack
A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a racist attack on three men in Belfast.
The men in their early 20s were assaulted on the Queen’s Bridge at around 3am on Sunday.
They were not seriously injured in the incident.
A man was detained in connection with the incident on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and common assault.
He was later released on bail pending further police enquiries.
Police, who are treating the incident as a racially-motivated hate crime, have asked anyone with information to contact them on the non-emergency number 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
