Derry 32CSM: Anti Internment Protest
The 32csm is to hold an Anti Internment Protest this Saturday the 8th of August at 2.30pm in the Bogside, statement will follow shortly.
STATEMENT
The 32 County Sovereignty Movement will be staging a protest on Saturday the 8th the August at 2.30pm at Free Derry Corner to mark the 38th anniversary of Internment.
The protest will also highlight the continuing deployment of Internment by the British and Free State establishments.
Internment is one of the many human rights abuses which are used, contrary to standards of international law, to maintain the illegal occupation and partition of Ireland.
The aim of the protest is to highlight this human rights abuse and plight of Republican Prisoners in British and Free State Gaol’s.
We urge all Republicans and indeed those who oppose Internment to attend this protest.
