Rioting breaks out in Belfast
Serious rioting broke out in east Belfast last night with police firing plastic bullets during clashes between nationalist youths and loyalists.
It happened after a Sinn Féin rally to mark the closure of a local police station.
The trouble began after 200 people gathered to celebrate the final closure and selling off of Mountpottinger police station.
Young men began pelting police Land Rovers with stones and other missiles.
Loyalists then began gathering close by and both sides began attacking each other.
As the rioting intensified, the main Albertbridge Road was closed and after a police warning, they began firing plastic bullets.
