Gli imputati al processo Devlin non testimoniano
Thomas Devlin accused will not testify
Two men accused of the murder of a Belfast schoolboy will not give evidence on their own behalf.
Defence lawyers for Nigel Brown, 26, from Whitewell Road and Gary Taylor, 23, from Mountcollyer Avenue, Belfast, said they would not take the stand.
Both deny murdering Thomas Devlin, 15, who was stabbed to death in north Belfast on 10 August 2005.
The accused men’s defence team told Belfast Crown Court on Monday it had no evidence to offer.
Lawyers said that the defendants had been advised that this was the time for them to give evidence – and their refusal to do so entitled the jury to draw such inferences as they thought proper.
The trial continues.
