Haddock arrested over four murders
Notorious UVF killer Mark Haddock has been arrested by the Historical Enquiries Team in connection with four murders.
The 40-year-old from north Belfast’s Mount Vernon estate was taken from Maghaberry Prison and is being held at Antrim Serious Crime Suite.
He is being questioned over the murders of John Harbinson in May 1997, Gary Convie and Eamon Fox in March 1994 and Sharon McKenna in January 1993.
Haddock is also being held in connection with a shooting and a number of assaults.
The senior loyalist is currently serving a ten-year sentence for attacking a club doorman.
Earlier this year, he was charged with the murder of a rival loyalist, UDA leader Tommy English, in 2000.
