Massereene: Man released
A 51-year-old man arrested in connection with the murder of two soldiers at Massereene Army barracks in March has been released “unconditionally”, police said.
Sappers Mark Quinsey, from Birmingham, and Patrick Azimkar, from London, were killed and two other soldiers and two pizza deliverymen were injured when gunmen opened fire. The Real IRA claimed responsibility for the attack. The man was arrested in the Co Antrim area yesterday and taken to Antrim Serious Crime Suite.
So far 13 people have been arrested and two, Brian Shivers and Colin Duffy, have been charged in connection with the murders.
