Rioters attack police in west Belfast
Four police vehicles have been damaged following rioting in west Belfast.
Up to 100 people attacked police with petrol bombs, bricks and bottles in the Broadway area after 8pm on Friday.
Missiles were also thrown between rival gangs at the roundabout.
Police came under attack again around midnight while missiles were thrown at passing motorists.
Officers patrolling in the Bog Meadows area were also attacked with petrol bombs.
A number of items believed to have been used in the making of petrol bombs were removed from the area.
The trouble ended around 3.30am.
One man was arrested on suspicion of having an offensive weapon and another on suspicion of riotious behaviour.
Both were released pending a report to the PPS.
