Two freed over McDaid murder
TWO men arrested as part of the investigation into the sectarian murder of Kevin McDaid and the attempted murder of Damian Fleming have been released.
The men, aged 43 and 37, were freed pending further inquiries.
Mr McDaid, a Catholic aged 49, was attacked by loyalists after a dispute over republican flags in the Heights estate last month.
A total of nine people have been charged in relation to the May 24 violence.
A man and a woman, who were also arrested earlier this week, were released without charge.
