Pipe bomb thrown at police station in Craigavon
A pipe bomb has been thrown at a police station in Craigavon, County Armagh.
At about 0030 BST police were told a call had been received by a charity stating a device had been thrown at Brownlow station and had failed to explode.
A search was carried out and a device was found at the back of the complex.
Army bomb experts attended and the device – which was deemed to be a viable pipe bomb – was made safe.
Police said no disruption was caused to local residents and inquiries are ongoing.
