Man released in McDaid murder probe
A 20-year-old man arrested over the murder of Kevin McDaid and the attempted murder of Damian Fleming in Coleraine has been released.
Police had earlier released a 42-year-old woman in connection with the attack on May 24.
Mr McDaid, 49, a Catholic father-of-four, was attacked by loyalists in the mainly Catholic Heights area of the town after the final fixtures in the Scottish league involving Glasgow Rangers and Celtic in separate games. The flying of Irish tricolour flags was also linked by police to the violence.
His friend, Mr Fleming, was badly injured.
Nine people have been charged in connection with the incident.
