School evacuated in Antrim alert

A primary school near Antrim has been evacuated following the discovery of a suspicious object in the Ballymena Road area.

Pupils from St Comgalls Primary School have been moved to a nearby church hall after an alert was sparked on Monday morning.

It is understood that the object was found close to the primary school.

Army technical officers have been tasked to the scene.
