Sinn Fein ‘irrilevante nella Repubblica’
Sinn Fein ‘irrelevant in Republic’
Ulster Unionists have launched a new broadside against Sinn Fein against the backdrop of the party’s internal talks in Co Meath.
As activists across the island of Ireland and the party leadership met in Navan, a senior Ulster Unionist issued a statement arguing that Sinn Fein was now seen in the Republic as a Northern Irish party.
Assembly deputy leader Danny Kennedy said: “This is an important historical moment because it registers the end of a united Ireland as a realistic political goal.
“Sinn Fein has become irrelevant in the Republic and is seen as just another Northern Ireland party.”
