Three arrested over Carroll murder

Three people have been arrested in connection with the murder of Stephen Carroll in Craigavon.

A 40 year-old man was detained in Lurgan while a 36 year-old man and a 37 year-old woman were arrested in Craigavon on Tuesday morning.

Constable Carroll from Banbridge, Co Down, was shot dead at Lismore Avenue in Craigavon while answering a call from a woman who had a brick thrown through her window last March.

The suspects are being questioned at Antrim Police station.

A 38 year-old man and a teenager have been remanded in custody charged with the murder.
