Man to face terrorism charges after Cookstown arrest
A 38-year-old man has been arrested in County Tyrone and charged with terrorism offences.
The man was arrested in the Cookstown area on Thursday. He has been charged with a number of firearm and terrorism offences.
It is believed that the charges relate to a republican show of strength in Strabane in October last year.
He is due to appear at Omagh Magistrates Court on Saturday.
A volley of shots was fired over the coffin of dissident republican John Brady on 8 October 2009, prior to his funeral.
Mr Brady, who was 40, had died at Strand Road PSNI station in Londonderry earlier that month. It is understood he took his own life.
