Man is charged over Ronan Kerr internet comments
A 45-year-old man has been charged over comments allegedly posted on a social networking site about the murder of Constable Ronan Kerr.
Constable Kerr, 25, was killed when a device exploded as he drove his car from his home in Omagh on 2 April.
The man was arrested in Cookstown on Wednesday and charged with distributing material that was threatening or offensive.
He is to appear at Dungannon Magistrates Court on 22 July.
The 45-year-old was charged under the Malicious Communications Act.
A condition of the police bail is that he is not allowed to use a computer.
