12 luglio 2011: pacifica la prima parata ad Ardoyne
Ardoyne parade passes off peacefully
An Orange Order feeder parade has passed the Ardoyne shopfronts in North Belfast peacefully.
Police lined the route as it passed the flashpoint. Nationalists held a protest and held banners condemning the PSNI and Parades Commission.
The march, which started on the Upper Crumlin Road at 8am on Tuesday, took just a few minutes to pass the area.
There are concerns about the return leg of the parade on Tuesday night, as marchers make their way home from the main Belfast demonstration.
The Parades Commission has ruled that the Ligoniel True Blues band can pass the area but they cannot play music, fly flags and supporters cannot accompany the band.
