13 pistole sequestrate e un arresto

Un uomo è stato arrestato, alcune pistole e munizioni sono state sequestrate dalla PSNI

Il cinquantottenne è stato arrestato mercoledì pomeriggio dopo che la polizia ha fermato e perquisito una vettura a Craigavon.

Il veicolo stava percorrendo Lake Road alle 15:30 quando è stato bloccato dagli agenti. Al suo interno sono stati recuperati anche soldi di contrabbando e circa 400 proiettili.

Durante una successiva perquisizione nella zona di Portadown sono state sequestrate anche 13 pistole.

Arrest made and 13 guns seized

A man has been arrested and a number of guns and ammunition were seized by police.

The 58-year old was detained after a car was stopped and searched by officers in Craigavon on Wednesday afternoon.

The vehicle was stopped on the Lake Road around 3.30pm and a quantity of counterfeit currency and approximately 400 rounds of ammunition were recovered.

Thirteen guns were seized during a further search of a house in the Portadown area.
