32Csm di Fermanagh condanna attacco a monumento repubblicano

Il 32 County Sovereignty Movement di Fermanagh è oltraggiato dall’apprendere del recente vandalismo contro il monumento del raid di Brookeborough. Un veterano di quell’incursione, Phil Donahue, è nell’Ard Comhairle del 32 CSM ed il monumento è servito per fissare il ricordo del coraggio mostrato da quei giovani e coraggiosi volontari.

Riteniamo che questo vandalismo non sia un incidente isolato. Piuttosto faccia parte di un deliberato tentativo da parte di singoli di innalzare le tensioni a Fermanagh. Pensiamo anche che elementi nella comunità unionista stiano tentando di trascinare i repubblicani in una disputa fatta di attacchi e vendette. Questo non accadrà.

Il 32CSM a Fermanagh appoggia i veri principi repubblicani, e tra quei principi c’è un atteggiamento non settario e un modo di vedere politico secolare. Il 32 County Sovereignty Movement (32Csm) condanna con fermezza l’assurdo incendio di una Orange Hall avvenuto recentemente perché riteniamo che tutte le comunità abbiano il diritto di vivere libere dal teppismo settario. Chiediamo ai responsabili di questo vandalismo di considerare le proprie azioni e domandiamo loro: chi ne beneficia?

Come repubblicani sosteniamo che il governo britannico abbia tutto l’interesse a mantenere la divisione settaria in Irlanda. Non permettere a voi stessi di divenire una pedina nelle loro mani.

Fermanagh 32csm Condemn Attack on Republican Monument

The 32 County Sovereignty Movement in Fermanagh was outraged to learn of the recent vandalising of the monument to the Brookeborough raid. A veteran of that raid, Phil Donahue sits on the Ard Comhairle of the 32CSM and the monument has served as a fitting reminder of the courage showed by those brave young volunteers.

We believe that this vandalising is not an isolated incident. Rather it is part of a deliberate attempt by individuals to stoke sectarian tensions within Fermanagh. We also believe that elements within the loyalist community are attempting to draw republicans into a tit for tat dispute. This will not succeed.

The 32CSM in Fermanagh stands for true republican principles, amongst those principles are a non sectarian stance and a secular political outlook. The 32 County Sovereignty Movement (32csm) firmly condemned the senseless burning of an orange hall recently as we believe that all communities deserve the right to live free of sectarian thuggery. We would urge those responsble for this vandalism to consider their actions and to ask themselves who benefits from this type of action?

As republicans we maintain that the British government has a vested interest in maintaining the sectarian divide in Ireland. Do not allow yourselves to be pawns in their agenda.
