Allarme «the freddo» a Stormont

Questa notte un uomo ha provocato un allarme sicurezza agli edifici del Parlamento lasciando una bottiglia di the freddo davanti all’ingresso principale

Poco dopo le 3:45 di questa notte la polizia è stata chiamata ad intervenire perché un uomo era stato visto entrare nei terreni di Stormont e lasciare un pacco davanti alla porta d’ingresso dell’edificio.

La polizia ha rimosso la borsa, contenente due bastoni e una bottiglia di “liquido non sospetto”.

Una ricerca nei terreni che circondano gli edifici governativi è stata eseguita dalla polizia e dalla sicurezza di Stormont, ma nulla è stato trovato.

L’uomo descritto nei rapporti indossava una t-shirt nera, pantaloni grigi ed un cappello di paglia. La polizia ritiene si sia diretto verso la zona di Massey Ave.

Una portavoce della PSNI ha confermato che il liquido contenuto nella bottiglia era “the freddo”.

Iced tea’ security alert at Stormont

An enigmatic man in a straw hat has caused a security alert at Parliament Buildings by leaving a bottle of iced tea at the front door.

Shortly after 3:45am this morning police were called in with reports of a man being seen to enter the grounds and leave a package at the front door of the building.

Police removed the bag which contained two sticks and a bottle of “non suspicious liquid”.

A search of the ground was carried out by police and Stormont security but nothing untoward was found.

The man described as wearing black t-shirt, grey trousers and straw hat and is believed to have headed towards Massey Ave area, police said.

A PSNI spokeswoman confirmed that the liquid was “iced tea”.
