Gli automobilisti ed i motociclisti sono stati avvisati di evitare la zona.
Margaret Ritchie, leader SDLP, ha detto che i residenti le hanno parlano di un ordigno caduto dalla vettura appartenuta ad una donna poliziotto.
“Non ci sono dubbi di sorta che noi e tutta la ente di Kilkeel stiamo con quest’agente e contro chi porta distruzione e morte in questa comunità pacifica” ha affermato.
“Tutti a Kilkeel saranno disgustati da questo attacco e vorranno vedere i responsabili in tribunale il più presto possibile”.

Alert at Catholic police officer’s home in Kilkeel
Army bomb experts are examining a suspicious object found near the home of a Catholic police officer in Kilkeel, County Down.
Motorists have been advised to avoid the area.
SDLP MP Margaret Ritchie said local residents told her a device may have fallen from a car belonging to a female police officer.
“Let there be no doubt whatsoever that we and all the people of Kilkeel stand with this officer and against those who would bring destruction and murder into this peaceful community,” she said.
“Everyone in Kilkeel will be disgusted by this attack and everyone will want to see those responsible brought to justice as soon as possible.”
