Gli artificieri dell’esercito stanno esaminando un “oggetto sospetto” trovato durante una perquisizione
La scoperta è stata fatta dagli investigatori nel corso di ricerche eseguite nella zona di Southway, Derry, nella mattina di mercoledì.
La zona al momento è chiusa per facilitare l’esame dell’oggetto e dovrebbe restare isolata ancora per diverso tempo.
“Chiedo di essere pazienti e assicuro che stiamo facendo gli sforni necessari per riaprire le strade più velocemente possibile”ha detto l’Ispettore Capo Paul McCracken.

Bomb disposal experts are examining a “suspicious item” found during a police search in Derry.
The discovery was made when detectives investigating dissident republican activity carried out a search in the Southway area of the city on Wednesday morning.
Southway is currently closed to facilitate this examination, and is likely to be closed for the next few hours.
“I would like to ask for your patience and assure you that we will be making efforts to have the road reopened as soon as possible,” said Chief Inspector Paul McCracken.
