Allarme sicurezza fa chiudere la Dublino-Belfast

La principale strada che collega Belfast a Dublino e la linea ferroviaria sono state chiuse in entrambe le direzioni a causa di un allarme sicurezza.

La A1/M1 è stata chiusa tra Dundalk e Newry con deviazoni sul posto. Trasferimenti in autobus sono operati dall’Irish Rail da e verso Belfast.

Una portavoce della PSNI riferisce di un oggetto sospetto ritrovato sulla sede ferroviaria.
Ha aggiunto che la vecchia strada per Dublino resta aperta al traffico.

Security alert closes Dublin-Belfast road

The main Belfast to Dublin road and the main rail line have been closed in both directions because of a security alert.

The A1/M1 was closed between Dundalk and Newry with diversions in place. Bus transfers operating on the Irish Rail service to and from Belfast.

A PSNI spokeswoman said a suspicious object had been discovered on the railway line. The old Dublin road is open to traffic, she added.
