Allarme sicurezza in centro ad Armagh

Il centro di Armagh è stato chiuso per un allarme sicurezza

La chiusura segue il ritrovamento di un oggetto sospetto nella zona di Mall, avvenuta intorno alle 3:30 di lunedì notte.

Gli artificieri dell’esercito stanno esaminando l’oggetto. L’area intorno a Mall East, Mall West, College Hill e al tribunale è stata cordonata dalla polizia.

La Royal School è aperta, ma può essere raggiunta solo attraverso College Hill, Portadown Road o Tower Hill. La Armstrong Primary school, invece, è rimasta chiusa.

Security alert in Armagh centre

The centre of Armagh has been closed in a security alert.

It follows the discovery of a suspicious object in the Mall area at about 0330 GMT on Monday.

An Army bomb disposal team is examining the object. The area around Mall East, Mall West, College Hill and the courthouse has been cordoned off.

The Royal School is open but can only be reached by College Hill, through Portadown Road or Tower Hill. Armstrong Primary school has closed.
