In corso due allarmi sicurezza a Lurgan e Craigavon

Un oggetto sospetto è stato rinvenuto a Craigavon.

Il presunto ordigno è stato abbandonato in Tullygally Road, adesso chiusa al traffico dalla polizia.

L’allarme ha anche portato alla chiusura del Brownlow Integrated College.

Nel frattempo la polizia sta effettuando delle ricerca a Lurgan, dopo le voci dell’abbandono di una bomba nella zona.

I poliziotti stanno esaminando un terreno all’interno della fabbrica chiusa Glendinning. Una portavoce della PSNI riferisce che le abitazioni nella zona di Allenhill Park potrebbero essere evacuate.

Alla fine del mese scorso, sempre a Lurgan, alcuni anziani residenti furono fatti allontanare dalle abitazioni per un allarme sicurezza in Lake Street.

Alla fine era stato trovato un finto ordigno, non in grado di esplodere.

Security alerts in Co Armagh

There are two security alerts in Co Armagh.

A suspicious object has been discovered in Craigavon.

The device was abandoned on the Tullygally Road which has been closed.

The alert has also led to the closure of Brownlow Integrated College.

Meanwhile, police are searching parts of Lurgan amid claims that a bomb has been abandoned in the area.

Officers are examining waste ground at the old Glendinning factory. A PSNI spokeswoman said homes in the Allenhill Park area may be evacuated.

At the end of last month, a number of elderly residents had to be moved from their homes after a security alert in the Lake Street area.

It was later declared an elaborate hoax.
