Un uomo di 33 anni è stato fermato a Coleraine questo pomeriggio, mentre un 53enne è stato fermato per aver aiutato gli aggressori.
Kevin McDaid, 49 anni, padre di quattro figli, è stato picchiato fino alla morte da un gruppo di quasi 40 persone quando è uscito per cercare suo figlio, dopo le partite di calcio scozzese riguardanti Rangers e Celtic Glasgow. Anche sua moglie Evelyn è stata ferita nell’aggressione.
Un secondo uomo, Daniel Fleming, 46 anni, è stato trasportato in ospedale con gravi ferite dopo essere stato duramente colpito durante gli stessi disordini.

Two more held over McDaid murder
A 33-year-old man was arrested in Coleraine this afternoon, while a 53-year-old man was also held on suspicion of assisting offenders.
The 49-year-old father of four was beaten to death by a gang of up to 40 people as he went to look for his children, following matches involving Glasgow Rangers and Celtic. His wife Evelyn was also injured in the attack.
A second man, Damien Fleming (46), was also taken to hospital with serious injuries after being assaulted durign the same disturbances.
