Ancora un aggiornamento per udienza su rilascio di Colin Duffy
Bail bid by republican Duffy adjourned again
A bail application by high profile republican Colin Duffy was adjourned for a second time yesterday over police concerns about checking on his whereabouts if he was released.
Duffy (41), from Lurgan, has been in custody since March accused of murdering two soldiers shot by the Real IRA outside Massereene Army barracks.
His first bail application in the High Court last Tuesday was adjourned because a soil analysis report was not available.
The hearing was adjourned until yesterday when Duffy’s lawyer said that three addresses in the Lurgan area had been furnished to police but the defence had been informed that the locality would impose great difficulties on officers complying with proper bail checks.
Lord Justice Coghlin adjourned the application until next Friday.
