Ardoyne: Orangist involded in attempted murder
This is a picture of John Loughey, parading through Ardoyne in his Earl of Erne in Orange Order uniform. The PSNI informed community reps on the Crumlin Road last night that he is to be charged with Attempted Murder and GBH With Intent. This individual did not “panic” as stated on last nights News bulletins, but deliberately drove into local residents, as witnessed by scores of residents.
In addition, he is one of the leaders of the North and West Parades Forum, a group made up of DUP, UDA, UVF and Loyal Order members that has ran a hatecamp at Twaddell for two years.
We await statements of condemnation for his attempt to kill teenage girls from those like William Humphrey, Nelson Mc Causland and Nigel Dodds who continually assert the “right of Loyal Orders to march” anywhere.
Political Unionism should demonstrate leadership and request that the Loyal Orders henceforth remove any further applications to march through this community.
