La PSNI ha arrestato un uomo in connessione con l’attacco armato avvenuto giovedì sera a North Belfast
I repubblicani armati sono ritenuti responsabili dell’attacco contro tre veicoli della polizia, colpiti da alcuni proiettili mentre attraversavano Ardoyne, a North Belfast.
L’attacco è stato effettuato intorno alle 19 di giovedì, quando i tre veicoli della PSNI percorrevano Crumlin Road vicino Brompton Park.
La polizia afferma che l’uso di un fucile d’assalto militare è stata “una follia”.
Domenica la polizia ha arrestato un uomo di 34 anni.
È stato portato presso la Serious Crime Suite di Antrim per gli interrogatori.

Man arrested after Belfast gun attack
The PSNI has arrested a man in connection with a gun attack on police officers in north Belfast on Thursday night.
Dissident republicans were blamed after three police vehicles were struck by a number of shots in the Ardoyne area.
The attack happened as officers were travelling along the Crumlin Road near Brompton Park at around 7pm.
Police said military grade weapons were used in the attack and branded it as “madness”.
On Sunday police said they had arrested a 34-year-old man in connection with the attack.
He has been taken to Antrim Serious Crime Suite for questioning.
