Armi e munizioni trovate in un bar utilizzato dallo Sinn Fein

Secondo quanto pubblicato in prima pagina sul Newry Democrat – ma non ancora presente nella edizione online – un locale pubblico di Newry è stato perquisito dalla polizia negli ultimi 3 giorni. Nell’edificio sono state trovate armi e munizioni.

Lo Sinn Fein ha una sala per le conferenze nel pub, dove tengono incontri ed anche quel locale è stato perquisito, così come il bar privato. Nel pub vengono effettuate anche serate di finanziamento per il partito. Anche i proprietari del locale sono membri dello Sinn Fein.

Un uomo di 40 anni sarebbe stato arrestato, sembra come collegamento con un incidente avvenuto nel fine settimana, quando un gruppo di uomini è penetrato in una abitazione, pestando ed accoltellando un ragazzo.

Guns and ammunition found in PSF bar in Newry

Just saw the front page of the Newry Democrat, a licensed premises in Newry was raided by the RUC/PSNI over the past 3 days. Guns and Ammunition were found in the building.

PSF have a conference room in the pub where they hold their meetings and this was also raided, aswell as their private bar, the pub also holds regular PSF fundraising nights. The owners of the bar are also members of PSF.

It also says a 40 year old man has been arrested and charged with a number of offences, it seems to be in relation to an incident at the weekend where a gang of men forced their way into a house and dished out a beating and stabbed a guy.
