Arresto a Dungannon durante Operation Dissent

La polizia nordirlandese ha arrestato un uomo durante una serie di perquisizioni avvenute questa mattina nel corso dell’Operation Dissent.

Le ricerche sono state condotte nella zona di Dungannon, Contea di Tyrone, ma nessun altro dettaglio è stato rilasciato.

La PSNI ha avviato l’operazione lo scorso venerdì, per bloccare l’attività dei gruppi repubblicani per timore di un attacco, pianificato in coincidenza con l’insediamento del nuovo comandante della polizia, Matt Baggott.

Man arrested in operation against dissidents

Police in the North have arrested a man during a series of searches this morning linked to an investigation into dissident republican activity.

The searches were conducted in the Dungannon area of Co Tyrone, but no further details have been disclosed.

The PSNI launched an operation last Friday aimed at disrupting dissident activity amid fears of a planned attack to coincide with the arrival of the new PSNI chief constable, Matt Baggott.
