Arresto a Belfast per omicidio Kevin Kearney

Gli investigatori del Major Investigation Team hanno fermato un uomo per l’omicidio dello spacciatore di North Belfast Kevin Kearney

Kevin KearneyL’uomo, di 33 anni, è stato fermato nel nord della città la mattina di lunedì.

Kearney fu ucciso lo scorso mese mentre accompagnava fuori i suoi cani lungo Antrim Road.

Il corpo del quarantaseienne era stato ritrovato in un lago all’interno di Alexandra Park il 9 ottobre.

L’uomo, padre di quattro figli, mancava da casa fin dal giorno prima.

L’allarme era stato lanciato quando i suoi cani erano tornati a casa da soli alle 20:30.

La “Nuova IRA” si è assunta la responsabilità per l’omicidio.

Altri tre uomini sono stati arrestati in relazione all’omicidio ma in seguito sono stati tutti rilasciati senza accuse.

SUSPECT HELD OVER MURDER OF NORTH BELFAST DRUG DEALER KEVIN KEARNEY

DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Major Investigation Team (MIT) have arrested a man over the dissident republican murder of north Belfast drug dealer Kevin Kearney.

The arrested man, aged 33, was detained in the north of the city on Monday morning.

Mr Kearney was shot dead last month while out walking his dogs off the Antrim Road

The 46-year-old’s body was found in a lake in Alexandra Park on October 9.

The father-of-four, from Dunmore Road in north Belfast, had gone missing the previous day.

The alarm was raised when his dogs returned home around 8.30 pm that night.

A group calling itself the ‘New IRA’ later claimed responsibility for the murder.

Three other men have been arrested over the murder but were released without charge later.
