Arrest over 1978 murder
POLICE have arrested a man in connection with the murder of a post office engineer over 30 years ago.
Detectives from the Historical Enquiries Team arrested a 55-year-old male in Glenariff on Tuesday, according to a police spokeswoman.
Catholic Noel McKay, 29, was shot dead outside his home in south Belfast in July 1978.
Two gunmen were believed to be involved in the incident, blamed on the IRA.
The suspect is assisting police with their enquiries at Antrim serious crime suite.
