Un uomo di 44 anni è stato arrestato nell’ambito delle indagini sull’omicidio di Tommy Crossan avvenuto a West Belfast nel 2014
L’ispettore capo della PSNI John McVea ha detto che l’uomo è stato fermato mercoledì nella zona di Armagh.
Il quarantaquattrenne è stato trasferito presso la Serious Crime Suite della stazione di polizia di Antrim per essere interrogato.
Tommy Crossan, 43 anni, fu un’importante membro della Continuity IRA. Venne assassinato mentre si trovava in un ufficio nel complesso Peter Pan in Springfield Road, West Belfast, il 18 aprile 2014.
Crossan fu colpito ripetutamente dai proiettili nella parte superiore del corpo e morì quasi immediatamente.

Arrest over Tommy Crossan murder
A 44-year-old man has been arrested by detectives investigating the murder of Tommy Crossan in west Belfast last year.
PSNI Detective Chief Inspector John McVea said the man was detained in the Armagh area on Wednesday.
He has been taken to Antrim Serious Crime Suite for questioning.
Mr Crossan, 43, was once a senior figure in the Continuity IRA. He was shot dead as he sat in an office in the Peter Pan complex on the Springfield Road on Friday 18 April 2014.
He was hit a number of times in the upper body and was pronounced dead at the scene.
