Attacco contro la casa della precedente Police Ombudsman

Vernice è stata lanciata contro la loro abitazione nella zona di Oldpark Avenue a Ballymena, nelle prime ore di mercoledì mattina.

Declan O’Loan ha detto di non conoscere il motivo dell’aggressione.

“Questo è un fatto spiacevole sul quale la polizia sta indagando attivamente.

“Ma penso verrà classificato come un crimine di odio. Il disordine provocato sarà sistemato e la vita andrà avanti”.

Nessuno è rimasto ferito nell’incidente.

La polizia chiede a chiunque possa fornire indicazioni sull’attacco di contattare gli investigatori.

Home of former police ombudsman attacked

Paint was thrown on their house in the Oldpark Avenue area of Ballymena in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Declan O’Loan said no immediate motive is known.

“This was a regrettable incident which the police are actively investigating.

“But I understand it will be classed as a hate crime. The mess will be cleared up and life will go on.”

No-one was injured in the incident.

Police have appealed for anyone with information concerning the incident to contact them.
