Attacco settario contro due ragazzini di 13 anni

La polizia sta trattando un’aggressione contro due ragazzi 13enni nella zona di Lurgan come settario.

I giovani camminavano lungo Windsor Avenue dopo aver lasciato Lurgan Park intorno alle 17 di mercoledì quando sono stati avvicinati da una banda composta da circa 15 uomini.

Aecondo la polizia, hanno picchiato i ragazzi colpendoli in tutto il corpo ed in volto.

Una portavoce della polizia ha detto: “Le vittime non hanno subito ferite gravi ma sono rimasti sconvolti dall’aggressione”.

La polizia ritiene che gli aggressori si trovassero nella zona prima dell’incidente e vengono cercati testimoni.

Police are treating an attack on two 13-year-old children in the Lurgan area as sectarian.

The youths were walking along Windsor Avenue after leaving Lurgan Park at around 5pm on Wednesday when they were approached by a gang of up to 15 men.

They beat the pair, hitting them across the face and body, according to police.

A police spokeswoman said: “The victims did not sustain any serious injuries but were left badly shaken by the incident.”

Police believe the attackers may have been in the area before the incident happened and are appealing for witnesses.
