Schoolboy caught up in Bangor shooting
A woman and a 10-year-old boy were inside a house in Bangor which was shot at on Saturday evening.
The Ballymaconnell Road property was targeted shortly after 7pm.
The woman is now being treated in hospital for shock. Neither her nor the child are said to be injured.
DUP North Down MLA Alex Easton said: “I totally condemn this attack on this house and those living in it this evening.
“Those responsible should be utterly ashamed of themselves and if they have any sense they should hand themselves over to the police.
“It is particularly disturbing that a child was present in the house to witness this incident.”
Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the attack to come forward.
