Due donne sono rimaste estremamente scioccate dopo che un colpo di arma da fuoco è entrato nella finestra della loro abitazione di West Belfast
Lo sparo è partito da una vettura che transitava nella zona di Rodney Drive intorno all’1:40 di martedì notte.
La polizia non è ancora riuscita a individuare un motivo per questo attacco.
Le due donne si trovavano all’interno dell’abitazione ma nessuna è rimasta ferita.
Nella zona, poco prima dello sparo, è stata vista transitare una vettura di color argento.
Paul Maskey, parlamentare dello Sinn Féin, ha condannato l’attacco perché “sbagliato e senza alcuno scopo”.
Ha aggiunto: “Ho parlato con le donne presenti in casa al momento dell’attacco e, mentre ringrazio il cielo che nessuna sia rimasta ferita, sono entrambe comprensibilmente sconvolte e scosse.
“Questo incidente ha provocato shock nella comunità. Non vogliono questo genere di cose nelle loro strade.
“Chiunque abbia informazioni su questo attacco le faccia avere subito alla polizia”.

Women left shaken by shot fired ‘from passing car’
Two women have been left badly shaken after a shot was fired through the window of a house in west Belfast overnight.
It was reported that the shot was fired from a passing car in the Rodney Drive area at around 1.40am on Tuesday.
Police said a motive has not been established yet.
The two women who were in the house at the time otherwise escaped injury.
A silver car was seen in the area and police have asked for anyone with information to contact them on 101.
Sinn Féin MP Paul Maskey has condemned the gun attack as “wrong and serving no purpose”.
He added: “I have spoken to the women who were in the house when it happened and, while thankfully neither were injured, they are understandably very shocked and shaken.
“This incident has caused shock in the local community. They do not want this type of thing happening on their streets.
“Anyone with any information on this attack should bring this forward to the police.”
