Bloody Sunday: le famiglie “valutano le opzioni legali”
Bloody Sunday families ‘consider legal options’
Solicitors representing some of the families bereaved by Bloody Sunday have said they are considering the ‘legal options available.’
Lord Saville’s report into the killings concluded that some members of the Parachute Regiment “knowingly put forward false accounts to justify opening fire on unarmed protesters.”
In a statement the solicitors said: “We will want to make representations to the Public Prosecution Service on behalf of our clients in relation to prosecutions and indeed have written to the Public Prosecution Service and advised that we will be making those representations in due course.”
“There are other legal processes to consider. We will consider these.”
Thirteen people were shot dead on 30 January 1972 in Derry when British Army’s Parachute Regiment opened fire on a civil rights march.
