Family targeted in petrol bomb attack
A family of four have escaped injury in a petrol bomb attack at their home in Newtownabbey.
The incident happened at the property in Cairnhill Drive in the Ballyduff estate at around 10:30pm on Thursday night.
It’s thought the device was thrown from nearby Cairnhill Parade.
The petrol bomb caused scorch damage to the roof of the house.
The family, a couple and their two young children, were in bed at the time of the incident.
Police are appealing for information.
