Irish Republican Prisoners Welfare Association ha appena saputo dalla Roe 4 di Maghaberry che John Paul Wootton è stato condannato a scontare 3 giorni in isolamento dopo essere stato trovato colpevole di un’accusa ridicola sollevata dall’amministrazione penitenziaria due settimane fa.
John Paul Wootton si rifiuta di lasciare l’ala repubblicana della prigione e i suoi compagni della Roe 4 si sono rifiutati di lasciare la mensa o il cortile fino a quando la questione non viene risolta.
La situazione è tesa e IRPWA si è messa in contatto con intermediari per cercare di raggiungere una risoluzione al più presto possibile.

Punitive targeting of JP Wootton
URGENT: We have just received word from Roe 4 that JP Wootton has been ordered to spend 3 days on the boards after he was found guilty of a ridiculous charge put on him by the administration 2 weeks ago.
JP is refusing to go to the boards and his comrades on Roe 4 have refused to leave the canteen or the yard until this matter is resolved.
The situation is tense and we have been in touch with the facilitators to try and reach a resolution ASAP.
