Cinque uomini fermati dalla Garda Siochana in Donegal

Cinque uomini sono stati arrestati nella Contea di Donegal durante un’operazione della polizia irlandese per contrastare le attività dei repubblicani

Gli uomini, tra i 40 ed i 60 anni, sono trattenuti in base all’Offences Against the State Act (Legge sui Reati Contro lo Stato).

Quattro sono stati arrestati a Letterkenny intorno a mezzanotte tra domenica e lunedì. Sono in custodia a Milford e Letterkenny.

Un quinto uomo è nella stazione di polizia di Buncrana. E’ stato arrestato lunedì mattina.

Five men arrested in dissident operation

Five men have been arrested in County Donegal as part of an ongoing Irish police operation to counteract the activities of dissident republicans.

The men, who are aged between 40 and 60 years old, are being detained under the Offences Against the State Act.

Four of the men were arrested in Letterkenny at about 0010 on Monday. They are being detained in Letterkenny and Milford.

A fifth man was arrested in Buncrana on Monday.

He is being detained at the town’s police station.
