Device is found after ‘explosion’

A suspect device has been found in Manorcunningham, County Donegal, after a report of an explosion in the village.

Irish police officers were called to a property at Churchlands shortly after 0100 BST on Monday.

They discovered the device and requested the assistance of the army bomb disposal squad.

They are still at the scene, and the property has been evacuated.
