Continuano le indagini sulla bomba di Newry. Perquisizioni in varie località di confine

La PSNI continua le ricerche legate al furgone bomba lasciato vicino a Newry sull’autostrada A1

Le ricerche sono state compiute a Newry, Warrenpoint e a Rostrevor.

Anche a Belfast sono state eseguite alcune perquisizioni.

Nessun arresto è stato fatto, ma gli investigatori hanno portato via degli oggetti per ulteriori esami.

L’uomo di 26 anni arrestato giovedì continua a rimanere in custodia.

Dissident republican searches carried out by PSNI

Detectives investigating a bomb in a van left on the A1 last week have carried out a number of searches in Newry, Warrenpoint and Rostrevor.

Searches were also carried out in Belfast.

No arrests have been made, but a number of items were removed for examination.

A 26-year-old man arrested earlier on Thursday in connection with the bomb remains in custody.
