Alla vittima, un trentenne, hanno sparato alla gamba sinistra nella serata di martedì in Glen Vista Road, dopo essere stato inseguito da tre uomini.
Non è stata comunicata la gravità delle ferite.
L’aggressione è avvenuta tra le 20 e le 21. La polizia sta cercando di stabilire un motivo per l’attacco punitivo.
Si tratta dell’ultima punizione di una lunga serie avvenuta nella zona di Derry nelle ultime settimane.

Man shot in paramilitary-style attack
The victim, believed to be in his 30s, was shot in the left leg in the Glen Vista Road on Tuesday evening after being chased by three men.
The extent of his injuries are not known.
The incident occurred between 8pm and 9pm and police are working to establish a motive for the incident.
The shooting is the latest in a series of such attacks in the Londonderry area over recent weeks.
