Derry: due arresti per la morte di James McConnell nel Waterside

La PSNI ha arrestato due uomini in collegamento con la morte di James McConness, avvenuta lo scorso anno.

L’11 febbraio 2009 l’uomo fu colpito a morte da due uomini a volto coperto mentre si trovava nella sua abitazione, nel quartiere Waterside di Derry.

I due uomini, di 44 e 42 anni, sono stati fermati questa mattina.

Il più giovane dei fermati è anche accusato di appartenenza ad un’organizzazione prescritta.

L’omicidio fu rivendicato dall’INLA.

PSNI arrest two in connection with Derry shooting

Two men have been arrested in the North in connection with the death of James McConnell last year.

The 38-year-old was shot by two masked men at his home in Derry on February 11, 2009.

The two men – aged 42 and 44 – were arrested this morning.

The younger man is also being held in connection with membership of a prescribed organisation.
