Derry: seppellito il quindicenne annegato per sfuggire alla polizia

Ha avuto luogo oggi il funerale del ragazzo di 15 anni annegato mentre fuggiva dalla polizia

Kyle Bonnes è morto nel fiume Faughan dopo l’arrivo dei poliziotti chiamati dai residenti per indagare su disturbo alla quiete pubblica e consumo di alcolici nella zona di Drumahoe nella serata di mercoledì.

Il suo corpo fu recuperato dai membri del Foyle Search and Rescue ma morì poco dopo.

L’ufficio del Police Ombudsman sta indagando sull’accaduto e ha chiesto ad eventuali testimoni di presentarsi.

Kyle è stato seppellito al Ballyoan Cemetery dopo una messa funebre svolta presso la Glendermott Presbyterian alle 14.30 di domenica.

Funeral held for drowned teen

The funeral for a 15 year old boy who drowned while running from police in Londonderry has taken place.

Kyle Bonnes died in the River Faughan after officers arrived to investigate noise and alcohol complaints from residents in the Drumahoe area on Wednesday evening.

His body was recovered by members of Foyle Search and Rescue but he died a short time later.

The Police Ombudsman’s Office is investigating the incident and has appealed for witnesses to come forward.

Kyle was buried at Ballyoan Cemetery after a service at Glendermott Presbyterian at 2.30pm on Sunday.
