Un proiettile è stato sparato contro un’abitazione di Derry
È avvenuto nella zona di Melmore Gardens, a Creggan, nelle prime ore di mercoledì.
I residenti hanno udito un forte scoppio intorno all’una. Quando la polizia è giunta sul posto ha trovato la finestra anteriore infranta, segni su un muro e al suo interno parti di un proiettile.
Nessuno di trovava in casa, ma la donna che recentemente ha lasciato l’abitazione, ha detto a Utv che la sua famiglia viene intimidita.
Visibilmente scossa, Carol Lavey ha affermato: “Non so perché lo stanno facendo. Ho bisogno di risposte.
“Venite avanti e fatemi sapere il motivo”, ha concluso la donna.

Shot fired at Derry house
A shot has been fired at a house in Derry.
It happened in the Melmore Gardens area in the early hours of Wednesday.
Neighbours heard a loud bang at around 1am. When police arrived they found the front window broken, strike marks on an inside wall and part of a bullet inside.
No-one was in the house at the time, but a woman, who had recently moved out of the house, told UTV that her family is being intimidated.
Visibly distressed, Carol Lavey said: “I don’t know why they are doing it. I need answers, I am sitting back every time my wee ones are getting picked on and I don’t know why.
“Come forward and let me know why.”
Police are appealing for information.
