Derry: terza pipe bomb in pochi giorni
Third city explosion in as many days
ANOTHER explosion has taken place outside a Londonderry home-the third in as many days.
The latest explosion took place outside a home at Dunmore Gardens, in the Creggan estate at around midnight last night (Tuesday, April 20).
The area has been cordoned off whilst foresnic experts examine the scene.
There are no reports of anyone being injured. The PSNI in the city are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time to contact them.
Earlier in the week pipe bombs were thrown at two houses in the city-one in the Culmore area and one close to Westland Street in the Bogside. This device had initially been undiscovered, having only partially detonated.
The alarm was raised when the vigilante group Republican Action Against Drugs said they were responsible.
