La casa del vice primo ministro nordirlandese Martin McGuinness è stata attaccata con bombe di vernice
L’attacco è avvenuto nella notte di domenica, ha riferito il parlamentare dello Sinn Féin.
Ha anche precisato che al momento dell’attacco con le bombe di vernice i suoi nipoti erano nell’abitazione.
Martin McGuinness ha detto che non si farà intimorire da questo incidente.
“Questo non è stato semplicemente un attacco contro mi me, ma contro tutta la mia famiglia.
“Voglio ringraziare i miei vicini di casa per l’aiuto e l’assistenza portata subito dopo l’attacco”.

“Questo attacco nei riguardi della mia famiglia viene dopo l’attacco incendiario contro la vettura di un membro dello Sinn Féin avvenuto a Derry settimana scorsa e i danneggiamenti ai cartelloni elettorali appesi in città”, ha proseguito Martin McGuinness.
“I responsabili di questi attacchi non hanno nulla da offrire alla comunità e vogliono riportare la comunità indietro nel passato.
“Né io né le persone che rappresento permetteremo che ciò avvenga” ha concluso il vice primo ministro.

Paint bomb attack on McGuinness home
The home of deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness has been attacked with paint bombs.
The attack happened sometime on Sunday night, the Sinn Féin MLA said.
He said his grandchildren were in the house at the time.
Mr McGuinness said he would not allow those behind the attack to deflect him from his work.
He said: “This was an attack not just on me but on my family too.
“I would like to thank my neighbours for all their help and assistance in the aftermath of the attack.

“This attack on my family follows an arson attack on the car of a Sinn Féin member in Derry last week and on Sinn Féin election billboards and posters in the city.
“The people behind these attacks have nothing to offer the community and they are intent on dragging society back to the past.
“Neither I or the people I represent will allow them to do that.”
