Man charged with rioting in Belfast
A 19 year-old man has been charged with rioting after the trouble in north Belfast’s Ardoyne area.
He handed himself into Woodburn police station in west Belfast on Saturday after the PSNI released photos of those involved in the rioting over the 12th of July period.
The man is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court on Monday.
Police came under attack with missiles and explosives during some of the worst violence for years after an Orange Order parade through Ardoyne.
